Every summer, when all of Salzburg is under the spell of the festival, Kapitelplatz also becomes a stage for art and culinary delights. Under the open sky, the balmy summer nights become a stage set for high-class concerts, operas and plays.
Located right next to Salzburg Cathedral and at the foot of Hohensalzburg Fortress, the ambience in the evening light could not be more beautiful. The performances are perfectly complemented by first-class gastronomy from the open-air restaurant IMLAUER on Kapitelplatz.
Siemens Fest>Game>Nights
From July 22 to August 27, 2023, performances from past years of the Salzburg Festival will be shown daily. On a big screen, you can experience top-class stars and excellent performances with free admission.
If you want to experience a special evening, you can enjoy freshly prepared dishes in the open-air restaurant IMLAUER on Kapitelplatz. At a beautifully laid table and under a tent roof, you have a clear view of the big screen.
The restaurant opens one hour before the performance begins. It is advisable to reserve a table early to ensure that your preferred date works out.

Siemens>Breakfast>Concerts
This summer you can start your weekends in a particularly enjoyable way. From July 29 to August 26, 2023, a Siemens>Breakfast>concert will take place every Saturday on Kapitelplatz.
While you listen to a concert, enjoy a delicious breakfast with crispy pastries, aromatic coffee and lots of fresh treats in the open-air restaurant IMLAUER on Kapitelplatz.
A concert from previous years of the Salzburg Festival will be broadcast on the big screen from 10.00 am. Reserve a table in good time for your gourmet breakfast and the ultimate in artistic enjoyment in the heart of Salzburg’s old town.
