Easy to reach, whether by car, train or plane. The Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu Salzburg is excellently located and only a stone’s throw away from Mirabell Palace and the unique Mirabell Gardens, as well as only a short walk to the historic old town of Salzburg.

  • By car:

    Please enter “Humboldtstraße, 5020 Salzburg” in your navigation system.

    We recommend that you come off the motorway at the “Salzburg Nord” junction, direction “Salzburg/Zentrum”. Go approx. 2km along Vogelweiderstrasse / B150, then turn right onto Sterneckstrasse/B1, and follow the road. There is a slight right on Sterneckstrasse after about 400m, leading into Gabelsbergerstrasse. After 150m on Gabelsbergerstrasse, turn left onto Paracelsusstrasse. After 250m turn right onto Franz-Josef-Strasse, and continue for 350m. Then turn right again onto Rainerstrasse. After 150m you’ll come to a roundabout; take the first exit onto Markus-Sittikus-Strasse. Go another 120m to the end of Markus-Sittikus-Strasse, then turn left onto Faberstrasse.

    After approx. 65m you will reach Faberstraße / corner of Humboldtstraße, where our hotel and parking lot are located. You can park your car in the IMLAUER parking lot for € 20.00 per 24 hours, subject to availability. We offer you 3 e-charging stations, where you may charge your car for 0.45 €/kWh. A reservation of an e-charging station is not possible.

  • On foot:

    From the train station: The Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu Hotel is a 7-minute walk away. Go along Rainerstrasse towards the centre/old town. After 550m, you’ll find out hotel on the left-hand side.

  • By public transportation:

    The closest stop is “Kiesel”. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 stop there.

    From the airport: Take line 2 towards “Salzburg Obergnigl”. Your stop is called “Kiesel”; there are 14 stops on this journey, and it takes around 25 minutes. Cross at the zebra crossing, and go right along Rainerstrasse, towards the centre/old town. After about 160m (2 minutes’ walk) you’ll see the IMLAUER & Bräu Hotel on the left.

  • By cab:

    From the train station: Our hotel is situated approx. 550m from Salzburg’s main train station – just a 7-minute walk. If you’d rather take a taxi, the taxi rank is directly in front of the station. Duration: approx. 5 minutes; cost is approx. between €6 and €8, depending on traffic and the time of day.

    From the airport: Taxis are available directly in front of the building. Duration approx. 15 min. Costs approx. between € 15 & € 20 depending on traffic and time of day.
