When should you start planning your wedding? Especially for popular dates, it’s a good idea to inquire about the venue early on. Our event team will then guide you step by step through the planning process for your celebration.

Plan the framework (9–12 months in advance)
Start fleshing out your initial ideas regarding the schedule, reception, dinner, music, and decor. You should also make arrangements early on for accommodations for out-of-town wedding guests.
Catering & Venue Planning (6–9 months in advance)
Coordinate the menu or buffet, seating, table arrangements, technical setup, and the use of the various event areas.
The Details (3–6 months in advance)
Decide on the decorations, beverages, wedding cake, midnight snack, and the schedule for the celebration.
Fine-Tuning (4–8 weeks in advance)
Work with our IMLAUER event team to finalize the number of guests, seating arrangements, special dietary requests, and the final itinerary.
