Green Meetings & Events
As a “Green Hotel”, the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg is entitled to have events certified as a “Green Meeting” or “Green Event” via a partner / licensee.
The organizer and the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter must observe the following criteria and ensure that they meet the requirements for “Green Meetings/Events”:
- Arrival / departure of participants
- Accommodation & venue, including catering
- Procurement, materials and waste management
“Green Meetings” (conferences, seminars, congresses, trade fairs, etc.) and “Green Events” (other events) send out a clear signal. It draws attention to companies that undergo a third-party assessment for the sake of the environment.
