Green Meetings & Events
The IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg is known as the “Green Hotel” (UZ 200), the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg is authorized to have events certified as “Green Meetings” or “Green Events” (UZ 62) through a partner or licensee.
The organizer and the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter must observe the following criteria and ensure that they meet the requirements for “Green Meetings/Events”:
- Arrival / departure of participants
- Accommodation & venue, including catering
- Procurement, materials and waste management
“Green Meetings” (conferences, seminars, congresses, trade fairs, etc.) and “Green Events” (other events) send out a clear signal. It draws attention to companies that undergo a third-party assessment for the sake of the environment.
