Mother’s Day is just one month away. This year, May 11, 2025 is the day on which we show our mothers our special love for them. Especially in these times of hardship, we should take every opportunity to be there for each other and show others how much we love them.

We have been celebrating Mother’s Day in Austria for almost 100 years, since 1924. Today, this day is often only seen from a commercial perspective. It is interesting to remember that Mother’s Day originally arose from the women’s movement of the late 19th and early 20th century. Quite simply to pay more attention to what mothers achieve and accomplish every day.
