SKIING PLEASURE IN THE ENNSTAL
Winter shows its best side and conjures up glistening white caps on roofs, meadows and trees. Flake by flake, Mother Hulda spreads the white snow and ensures excellent snow and piste conditions. So nothing stands in the way of your skiing pleasure.
Experience a unique skiing pleasure and ski through powdery snow and over perfectly groomed slopes. Over 360 kilometers of slopes at up to 2000 meters above sea level await you in the Styrian Enns Valley around the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn.
Snow bear country
Almost right on our doorstep begins the snow bear country with. A total of 124 kilometers of slopes in 5 ski areas await you. Here you will find classic downhill runs as well as the opportunity for freeriding and many attractive offers for children and families.
If you don’t want to travel far to the ski area, the ski paradise “Die Tauplitz” is the perfect choice. Just 12 km from the hotel, it is the largest single ski area in Styria and not only offers wonderful pistes, but also magnificent views of a magnificent mountain landscape.
If you’re looking for variety, the Ski Riesneralm and the Planneralm are two more ski areas just 18-20 km from the hotel. The Loser ski area near Altaussee is also included in the Schneebärenland Card. It can be reached in around 40 minutes by car and offers lots of fun and state-of-the-art facilities, especially for families and children.

Schladming-Dachstein
The world-famous ski resort has already hosted the Ski World Championships twice (1982 and 2013). But that’s not the only thing that makes Schladming-Dachstein a ski resort that you should definitely get to know. The 4-mountain ski area extends over 50 lifts, 81 pistes and 123 kilometers of slopes, providing plenty of fun and adventure.
With funslopes, sound slope, cross park, funcross, children’s area, shooting course and a permanent race track, there is endless action and fun. An island of pleasure and culinary delights in rustic huts provide relaxation in between.
The Hauser-Kaibling is only approx. 31 km away from our hotel. From here you can explore the entire 4-mountain ski area.
Hinterstoder Wurzeralm
A little further away, around 54 km, is the ski resort of Hinterstoder. However, the drive is worth it, as this is a wonderful family ski area. There are 40 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes between 600 and 2000 m above sea level. Comfortable pistes, rustic ski huts and wonderful views ensure relaxed days of skiing for all ages.
A little quicker to reach, around 29 km away, is the ski area Wurzeralm. The ski area is a little smaller with 22 km of pistes, but offers space for everything your heart desires: skiing, snowboarding, piste walking, freeriding, as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing away from the pistes.
